Payment/Haulage Terms and Conditions

Introduction

The contract between EG Containers Ltd and the customer is formed when an order is received in the form of an invoice. The order from the customer to EG Containers Ltd can be made through written, verbal, or electronic communication. EG Containers Ltd only supplies the product and does not provide delivery or haulage of the product. 

Supply

EG Containers Ltd agrees to supply the product or services to the customer as detailed in the order and according to the terms and conditions of the order. Please note that EG Containers Ltd does not supply delivery or haulage. The product will be released to the haulier 72 hours after full payment has been received. Once released, the lead time as to when the product will be delivered is to be agreed between the customer and the third-party haulage company, and not EG Containers Ltd.

 

Where EG Containers Ltd is happy to obtain a quote from a third-party haulage firm and pass on the details to the customer, the haulage is not affiliated or connected to the company, nor does EG Containers Ltd take any responsibility for the product or the delivery of the product once it has been loaded and left site with the haulier/delivery company.

 

The contract of when delivery is to be made is between the customer and the haulier, and not EG Containers Ltd. If any issues arise once the product has left site, this is to be taken up between the customer and the haulier. 

 

Payment Terms

Once an order has been placed, EG Containers Ltd will issue an invoice to the customer; however, the invoice does not commit the sale of the product. Once full payment has been received, the product will then be released to the customer to arrange delivery. 

 

EG Containers Ltd can set up a payment plan where a 50% deposit can be paid upfront and the remaining 50% paid on the date agreed between EG Containers Ltd and the customer. This is provided at the sole discretion of EG Containers Ltd with existing customers. Should the remaining amount not be paid on the agreed date, the sale will become void and any monies paid are non-refundable.

Should EG Containers Ltd choose not to enforce any or all of these conditions, this should not be interpreted as a waiver of any of the company’s rights. By providing EG Containers Ltd with an order, the customer accepts these terms and conditions. 

 

Health and Safety

EG Containers Ltd and the customer will act in accordance with all relevant health and safety requirements in order to provide the products. EG Containers Ltd reserves the right to refuse customer or customer haulage access or products for failure to comply with company health and safety policies.
